Luca Schnettler: Forging a Path in Digital Health Assessment

In the world of entrepreneurship, age is no longer a barrier to innovation and success. At just 21 years old, Luca Schnettler, the Founder and CEO of HealthyHealth, is making waves in the digital health assessment sector. In this exclusive interview, we dive into Luca’s journey, his company’s impressive growth, and the lessons he’s learned as a young founder.

Q: Luca, you embarked on your entrepreneurial journey at a young age. Can you tell us about the inspiration behind founding HealthyHealth and your decision to pursue it full-time?

Luca Schnettler: Absolutely. It all started when I enrolled in a Computer Science with Business Management degree at Queen Mary University London in 2017. While I was passionate about technology, I felt a strong pull to create something significant. That’s when the idea for HealthyHealth began to take shape. I decided to leave my degree that same year to fully commit to building HealthyHealth—a decision I haven’t regretted.

Q: HealthyHealth has seen remarkable growth in a short period. Can you share some insights into the journey and the milestones you’ve achieved?

Luca Schnettler: It’s been an incredible journey so far. In just two years, we’ve successfully raised over £1.5 million in three investment rounds, with our most recent one in May of this year. According to our latest valuation, HealthyHealth is now valued at £6.03 million. We’re thrilled with our progress. We’re also expanding internationally, serving clients in the UK, Europe, the US, and Asia. Our next goal is to secure additional funding to bring in fresh talent to further accelerate our growth.

Q: Your ownership in the company has evolved. Can you tell us about your journey from owning 73% to 57% and the factors behind this transition?

Luca Schnettler: Ownership percentages can fluctuate as a company grows and attracts more investors. In our case, as we secured investments and expanded, the ownership structure adjusted accordingly. While my ownership percentage has changed, my commitment and dedication to HealthyHealth have remained unwavering. What matters most to me is the company’s growth and impact.

Q: Building a strong team is essential for any startup’s success. What are your experiences and learnings in this regard?

Luca Schnettler: Building a strong team has been one of my most significant learnings over the past two years. Surrounding myself with talented individuals who share our vision has been instrumental in our success. It’s important to recognize that no one can build a successful company alone. The hard work and dedication of my team have played a pivotal role in our achievements, both with clients and in shaping our product.

Q: As a young founder, what advantages and challenges have you encountered, and how have they influenced your entrepreneurial journey?

Luca Schnettler: Being a young founder has both advantages and challenges. I’ve often been underestimated, which can be an advantage as it allows me to exceed expectations. People have also been more willing to offer their support and guidance, which I believe is partly due to my age. However, it’s essential to strike a balance between youthful enthusiasm and experienced decision-making. Learning from mentors and seeking advice has been invaluable in navigating the challenges that come with entrepreneurship.

Luca Schnettler’s journey with HealthyHealth is a testament to the power of youthful determination, innovation, and the importance of building a strong team. As he continues to lead his company to greater heights in the digital health assessment space, his story serves as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs of all ages.
