Defence Holdings Announces Andrew Roughan as CEO and Sets Sights on Next-Phase Growth

Defence Holdings PLC, the company in London that deals with defence technology and security has chosen Andrew Vincent Roughan as its Chief Executive Officer. This change will happen on 30 March 2026.

Roughan is a leader and he brings this to Defence Holdings. He has a lot of experience from his time as the CEO of Plexal. Plexal is a company in the UK that works with the government and people in defence and national security. At Plexal Roughan was in charge of teams that did different things. Before he worked at Plexal Roughan was one of the people who started Here East. Here East is a place in London where people work on technology and ideas. It was built as part of what the UK Government wanted to do after the Olympics. Roughan also used to work in jobs at telecoms companies and big projects like Cable & Wireless and companies that run big data centers, around the world.

Roughan has the mix of business sense leadership skills and experience with rules and regulations to lead Defence Holdings into its next phase. Defence Holdings made an announcement about its leadership at the time it gave an update on its funding facility. The company said it got a £92,800 from this facility. Now the total amount of money Defence Holdings has from this programme is £713,117.49. This money will help the company keep running and make sure it can adapt to changes as it moves forward with its plans.
