Lisa Quest Appointed CEO of Marsh UK—Steering Growth Across Risk, Insurance & Consulting

3 February 2026: There was a change in the leaders at Marsh UK. Marsh UK is a part of Marsh McLennan, a company that deals with risk, insurance and consulting. They appointed Lisa Quest as the Chief Executive Officer of Marsh UK. She will start her job on 6 April 2026. This change is a sign that Marsh UK is looking to do things. The company wants to be ready for the challenges and opportunities that are coming up in the market. Marsh UK is the arm of Marsh McLennan, which is one of the biggest professional services firms, in the world.

A Proven Leader at the Helm

Lisa Quest is the Head of UK and Ireland at Oliver Wyman. Oliver Wyman is the management consulting arm of Marsh McLennan. Now Lisa Quest will be in charge of Marsh operations in the United Kingdom. She is taking over from Chris Lay. Chris Lay is the CEO. He is retiring after working with the firm for a long time. Chris Lay had a distinguished career with the firm. Lisa Quest will be leading Marsh operations, in the United Kingdom.

This appointment puts Quest at the front of a really big organisation that is worth £10 billion. This organisation has four parts:

  • Marsh does risk and insurance broking
  • Mercer does HR and talent consulting
  • Guy Carpenter does reinsurance
  • Oliver Wyman does management consulting. All of these parts work under the name of Marsh UK. The organisation is huge. Quest is now a big part of it. Quest is now, at the forefront of this £10 billion organisation.
