UK E-Waste Business n2s Appoints Rob Bolton as New CEO

Network 2 Supplies (n2s), a leading UK e-waste management company, has appointed Rob Bolton as its new CEO. Bolton replaces James Bates, who has left the role after a year at the helm. With a long history at n2s and a wealth of experience in operations and strategic growth, Bolton’s promotion marks a new chapter for the company as it looks to expand its services in the rapidly growing e-waste sector.

Rob Bolton’s Rise to CEO at n2s

Rob Bolton has been with n2s since 2019, initially joining as an operations manager. Over the years, he demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, quickly rising through the ranks. In 2021, he was promoted to Director of Operations, where he played a key role in driving operational improvements and strategic growth. As CEO, Bolton will now lead n2s in expanding its market opportunities, particularly in areas such as technical sales, data center decommissioning, and copper cabling granulation.

A Focus on Sustainability and Growth

Bolton’s appointment comes at a critical time for the e-waste industry, which is increasingly focused on sustainability. n2s, known for its commitment to technology lifecycle management and IT asset disposal, has been a leader in providing secure, compliant, and environmentally responsible solutions. Under Bolton’s leadership, the company aims to continue setting new standards for services such as data erasure, asset refurbishment, and zero-to-landfill end-of-life disposal.

“We will continue to set new standards for technology lifecycle management, ensuring secure, accountable, and compliant solutions for de-installation, data erasure, asset reuse, and sustainable disposal,” Bolton said upon reflecting on his new role.

Bolton’s Expertise and Vision for the Future

Before joining n2s, Rob Bolton spent 25 years at Delphi Technologies, a leading provider of power and vehicle components, where he gained valuable experience in engineering, facilities management, and operations. His strong background in engineering, coupled with his deep knowledge of the IT recycling industry, makes him the perfect fit to guide n2s into its next phase of growth.

n2s’ Impact on the E-Waste Industry

Founded in 2002, n2s is headquartered in Bury St Edmunds and has multiple offices across the UK, including Reading, Mansfield, and London. The company has made significant strides in the e-waste industry, recovering retired technology across various sectors such as mobile, IT, data centers, networks, and telecom equipment. In the past year alone, n2s has sanitized 30,000 data-bearing devices, refurbished and resold 4,500 servers, and recovered 200 tons of copper from telecom infrastructure.

The Path Forward for n2s

With Rob Bolton now at the helm, n2s is poised to continue its leadership in the IT recycling and e-waste sectors. The company is committed to expanding its sustainable operations and ensuring that its technology disposal solutions are both environmentally friendly and compliant with industry standards.
