Kazakhstan’s Global Ambitions Find a Partner in Alain Khoueiry

Kazakhstan’s position between major international markets has created growing opportunities for stronger economic and institutional relationships with the wider world. Alain Khoueiry is contributing to this process through a range of leadership roles connecting Kazakhstan with international business, investment and cultural networks.

An international businessman, investor and author, Khoueiry is based in Kazakhstan while maintaining professional activities across Central Asia, the United States, Europe and the Middle East.

His role as Central Asia Representative for the America Eurasia Business Coalition (AEBC) places him within a network focused on strengthening commercial and strategic ties between the United States and Eurasian markets. For Kazakhstan and the broader region, such connections can create greater opportunities for international investment and institutional cooperation.

Khoueiry’s business leadership is anchored by iHolding Group, which he founded and chairs. The group operates across a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, real estate, hospitality and tourism, technology, natural resources, advisory services and international investment.

He also leads iAmerica, which focuses on developing commercial relationships between Kazakhstan, the United States and global markets. Together, these platforms form part of his broader efforts to encourage international engagement with Kazakhstan.

One of the most visible examples of Kazakhstan’s growing international reach is its upcoming involvement with the UIM F1H2O World Championship. The country is scheduled to host its first round of the championship in August 2027 at Kapchagay in the Almaty Region. The initiative is being developed through cooperation involving F1H2O, iHolding, international partners and the Almaty Region Government.

The event is expected to place the region before an international audience and contribute to tourism and commercial opportunities. It also follows the successful introduction of F1H2O to Central Asia through the Grand Prix of Kyrgyzstan.

Beyond business and sport, Khoueiry serves as Chairman of UNDSMA, Development of Sports, Music and the Arts, supporting international dialogue through cultural and youth initiatives.

His diverse activities illustrate a broader commitment to connecting Kazakhstan with international partners through investment, commerce, sport and culture.
